The Stübben Equi-Soft® combines a patented system of elastic bands with a lambskin pad from the renowned lambskin specialist Mattes – a fusion of two traditional companies in the equestrian industry. The fan-shaped band design distributes girth pressure evenly across the ribcage, allows for unrestricted respiratory movement, and demonstrably reduces natural defensive reactions during girthing. An independent study of various girth models confirms: All horses maintained a significantly lower heart rate when using the Equi-Soft® – without exception. The lambskin pad comes from E.A. Mattes, whose raw material is sourced exclusively from premium Australian producers and processed by hand in the EU – in Myslenice, Poland – according to the strictest quality standards.
