When administered regularly, it promotes the formation and development of musculature, especially the musculoskeletal system! Feeding:
Generally, when feeding linseed oil for the first time, introduce it slowly!
Dosage e.g. 1st week daily 20 ml/horse, 2nd week daily 40 ml/horse, etc.
Recommended dosage (quantity = effect):
up to 20 ml/day per horse or pony:
- creates silky, shiny coat
- release of fat-soluble vitamins (A, D, E, K) from carrots etc.
- good binder for dusty feed
from 50 ml/day per horse or pony:
- metabolism stimulating and vitalizing
- supports muscle building (musculoskeletal system),
- good for a healthy strong heart (the heart is also a muscle!)
- supply with essential fatty acids (Omega-3 fatty acids)
- energy supplier for coat change and winter time
- prevents inflammatory processes in the organism
- cares for the skin and keeps it supple, prevents itching and flaking
from 80 ml to 250 ml / day per horse and pony (recommended as a course - these quantities accumulate with insufficient exercise):
- Energy booster for increased performance demand/requirement (protein and carbohydrate-free energy instead of oats & co.)
