Two of the most innovative and popular materials at BUSSE are the 3D AIR® EFFECT and the 3D AIR® DRY materials. Both are now found in a wide variety of BUSSE products and are enthusiastically received due to their special properties, which have been optimized specifically for equestrian sports.
3D AIR® – Unique Benefits:
The name already reveals a lot: Both the 3D AIR® EFFECT material and the 3D AIR® DRY material consist of a special 3D polyester knitted fabric. In this, tiny stable synthetic fibers (filaments) keep the top and bottom of the fabric at a certain distance from each other. That's why it is also called a spacer fabric. This special material structure enables excellent air-circulating properties. The material does not absorb water itself and is dry again in a very short time. The fur-tested fabric layer (surface facing the horse) offers maximum comfort and a non-slip positioning for both shorn and unshorn horses in all weather conditions and temperatures. The material is also characterized by its durability and ease of care.

3D AIR® DRY
The 3D AIR® DRY material is the optimal material for horses that sweat quickly or for anyone who values as much horse-friendly effectiveness as possible when drying off. The benefits already described play a central role here:

Specifically, this means: The liners and blankets made of 3D AIR® material increase the speed of drying off without absorbing moisture themselves and then lying heavy and wet on the horse. The optimal air circulation prevents heat build-up and ensures optimal thermoregulation. This can prevent both possible overheating and cooling down due to perspiration.
As a liner product under an outdoor blanket, the air cushion layer, which the spacer fabric enables, also provides excellent thermoregulating properties in a very natural way.
